After three weeks of non-stop cricket action, the stage is set for the grand finale of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League 2024 powered by Ncell. Sudurpaschim Royals and Janakpur Bolts will face off in the title decider on Saturday, December 21, at the Kirtipur cricket ground.

The Royals head into the final as favorites, having dominated the league stage with seven wins out of eight matches. Their only stumble came against the Chitwan Rhinos. In Qualifier 1, they convincingly defeated the Bolts by chasing down a target of 140 runs in just 18.3 overs, with Binod Bhandari leading the charge with an unbeaten 58 off 55 balls.

For the Bolts, the road to the final has been more challenging. After losing to the Royals in Qualifier 1, they bounced back in a thrilling playoff match against Karnali Yaks, clinching a narrow two-wicket victory to book their spot in the final. The Bolts have had a mixed tournament, with five wins and three losses, but their fighting spirit has been remarkable throughout.

Tickets for the big game are already sold out, and there will be no physical ticket sales at the venue. Fans are encouraged to stay safe at home and enjoy the live broadcast of the match on TV or online.
The showdown between the Royals and the Bolts promises to be a nail-biting contest as both teams aim to etch their names in NPL history. Who will take home the trophy? Tune in to find out!
