April 30, 2025, KATHMANDU – The United States Department of State has announced that results for the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery 2026 will be available starting May 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM (EDT). Individuals who registered for the DV-2026 program between October 2 and November 7, 2024, can check their status online through the official DV Entrant Status Check portal.
To check the results, entrants must use the confirmation number received at the time of registration, along with their personal information. The official website for checking DV results is:

Applicants are strongly advised to keep their confirmation number safe until September 30, 2026, as it is essential for accessing the status and, if selected, completing the visa application process.
The Diversity Visa Program, commonly known as the Green Card Lottery, aims to promote immigration from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States. For DV-2026, up to 55,000 immigrant visas will be made available.
