In a swift rescue operation, the Nepal Government has brought 254 Nepali citizens back from Israel, following an attack by the Hamas group that resulted in the tragic loss of 10 Nepali students’ lives. These citizens, who faced danger in Israel, arrived safely at Tribhuvan International Airport at 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also coordinating the repatriation of the deceased students’ bodies. Over 350 Nepali citizens have registered for repatriation, and there are around 265 Nepali students in Israel under the ‘Learn and Earn’ program, along with approximately 4,500 Nepali workers in various professions in the country.
This successful operation underscores the Nepal Government’s dedication to the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad.
